A Championship History

Sunriver Resort has hosted some of golf’s most prestigious tournaments. Crosswater has welcomed Fred Couples, John Daly, and Fred Funk, while the resort as a whole has staged four PGA Professional Championships and, in 2024, three PGA of America Championships across Meadows and Woodlands. From the PGA Cup to the Women’s PGA Cup, championship play has become part of the Sunriver story.

Future USGA and PGA Events at Sunriver Resort

The next decade brings even more milestones. Sunriver Resort will host the 2027 and 2028 U.S. Adaptive Opens on the Meadows Course, followed by the 2031 U.S. Mid-Amateur and 2036 U.S. Junior Amateur across Crosswater and Meadows. These events further cement the resort’s place among the nation’s top venues.
