There’s something new in bloom this summer at Sunriver Resort—and it’s not just the wildflowers. The debut of the Sunriver Resort Farmers Market brings Central Oregon’s rich agricultural roots to The Backyard, connecting guests and visitors with local growers, seasonal flavors, and stories behind every bite.

Held each Thursday from 10 AM to 2 PM, May 22 through August 28, the Sunriver Resort Farmers Market features some of the region’s most beloved producers—many of whose ingredients appear across the resort’s 11+ dining destinations, including our signature restaurants like Lodge Kitchen and Owl’s Nest.

Meet the Makers

Curmuffins
Created by Sunriver local Lillian Owen, Curmuffins brings savory and sweet baked goods like mushroom, parmesan, and gruyere galettes, English muffins, focaccia, and brioche to the market each week. Owen sources ingredients from fellow vendors, turning one week’s produce into the next week’s pastries. “This is our community, and it’s wonderful to see it growing in this way,” she says. “My parents taught me that if you want something to exist in our town, we need to support and participate in it. As a result, I’m always excited when something I love comes to my neighborhood.”

Well Rooted Farms
Frank and Janelle, the husband-and-wife team behind Well Rooted Farms, raise their livestock on fresh green grass with plenty of sunshine and room to roam. The result? Premium dry-aged beef, pasture-raised pork, and fresh eggs—all sold alongside their crowd-favorite whipped tallow balm, a three-ingredient skincare product made from their own rendered beef fat. Broadus Bees
Jimmy Broadus, owner and head beekeeper of Broadus Bees, brings a sweet assortment of honey products to the market. His signature Raw White Clover whipped honey stands out for its distinctive consistency, a must-buy at his booth. “Our whipped honey is smooth and thick, with a texture that doesn’t crystallize,” says Broadus. “It spreads like butter on bread, which really sets our product apart.” Alongside their best-selling Bend Wildflower honey, harvested from bees pollinating local mountain wildflowers, Broadus Bees offers a variety of honey-infused products at the market, including lip balms, throat sprays, and handcrafted soaps. His sustainable hives also produce wildflower honey, lip balms, throat sprays, and soaps, all made with care in nearby Bend.

North 44 Farm
Founded in 2016 by Courtney Schuur and Ethan O’Brien, North 44 Farm began with a few animals and a shared vision for more intentional ranching. Today, the Bend-based operation produces premium, pasture-raised meats that are free from hormones and antibiotics and certified Animal Welfare Approved by A Greener World.

Courtney brings a chef’s perspective to the table, selecting cuts with flavor and function in mind, while Ethan focuses on soil health and pasture diversity—creating a closed-loop system where animals contribute to land restoration. At the Sunriver Resort Farmers Market, look for a curated selection of North 44 Farm’s most sought-after products: dry-aged steaks, house-made sausages, pastured chicken, ground beef, and seasonal lamb cuts.

A Fresh Take on Resort Dining
From pasture-raised meats to small-batch honey, fresh flowers to artisan bread, each booth brings a deeper connection to place—and the people behind your food. At Sunriver Resort, that connection carries through to the kitchen. Culinary interns and chefs from signature restaurants like Lake House at Caldera Springs and The Grille at Crosswater visit the market each week to shop and source ingredients firsthand, practicing the art of seasonal, locally driven cuisine. It’s a true farm-to-table experience, brought to life right here at Sunriver Resort.
