Can't-Miss Winter Events:

  • 2018 Grand Illumination (Saturday, November 17, 12pm - 7pm) - This tree-lighting ceremony is when the holidays really kick into high gear at Sunriver. And the lights are just the beginning. This year's event features a visit from Santa, live music, children's craft projects, train rides, Oregon Observatory telescope viewing, face painting, petting zoo, huggable characters, fireworks and more.
  • 5K Turkey Trot Fun Run (Friday, November 23, 10am) - Maybe you feasted a little too much on Thanksgiving? No worries. You can work it off on the day after during this 5K, proceeds of which go to NeighborImpact, a local nonprofit. Wear a costume for added fun and prizes – you have a turkey costume, don’t you?   • Holiday Marketplace (Friday and Saturday, November 23 - 24, 10am - 4pm) - Bring your “nice” list to the Holiday Marketplace and get your holiday shopping done early. Here, you’ll browse goods created by local and regional artists, including pottery, jewelry, fine arts, textiles, metalwork, woodworking, soaps and lotions and more.

Eat, Drink & Be Merry
There’s no shortage of great food and drink at Sunriver year-round. But things get kicked up a notch during the holidays. During Thanksgiving, leave the cooking to us and enjoy a bountiful buffet in the Great Hall, a plated feast at Carson’s American Kitchen or a classic turkey dinner at the Grille at Crosswater.
